A website re-design for an artist

We have just re-designed a website for a textile artist. Her old site was created in HTML over seven years ago. Technology has moved on since then. All new sites need to be mobile responsive so that they display optimally on mobile devices such as phone and tablets, as well as the usual PC desktops and laptops. Google made this a directive in 2015. Non-responsive sites will still display on Google’s results pages. But if there is competition for a particular search term, a responsive site will get priority over a non-responsive site.

Our client’s new site was created using WordPress and is fully responsive and well optimised for searches (WordPress websites are naturally search engine friendly). It’s also a lot easier to update which helps keep maintenance costs down. Plus it has a fresh new look and feel, new style lighbox galleries and a home page slider.
